The 4000 Island 4 Days / 3 Nights
Day1. Arrival – Pakse – Tadlo
On arrival in Pakse, you will be met by our staff and taken to Saravanh province. We take a tea break en route to the Boloven Plateau to observe the locals and their way of life. The Boloven Plateau is known for its cooler temperature and for the impressive rivers that run off the plateau’s edges and plunge into the lush forests below. We’ll make sure to stop at Tad Fan waterfall with its spectacular twin waterfalls plummeting into a deep gorge surrounded by flourishing vegetation. A trip to the plateau provides a refreshing break from the heat and allows you to see how coffee, tea, cardamom, bananas, and other crops are cultivated. This part of our journey is off the beaten track and allows you to discover some of the lesser-known areas in Laos. Upon arrival at Tad Lo, we visit some ethnic minority villages populated by Alak, Nge and Katu people. Overnight at Tad Lo.

Day2. Tadlo – Pakse – Wat Phou – Don Khone
After an early breakfast, we head out towards Khong Island. On the way we make a short detour to visit the Pha Suam waterfalls and to stroll around the ethnic minority village of Lao Teung. We continue until we arrive at the UNESCO protected pre-Angkorian ruins of Wat Phu, one of Southeast Asia's most dramatically situated temples. They are perched at the base of Mount Phu Kao and date back to the 5th century. We continue our journey Don Khong island, the largest island in the South Mekong river region known for its 4000 islands. Overnight in Don Khong

Day3. Don Khong – Khone Island – Pakse
Following breakfast, we enjoy a visit to the surrounding countryside, and embark on a long tail boat tour of the Don Khone area. We will see old French architecture and Liphi or "the Corridor of the Devil" Waterfalls. We return to the mainland at the fishing village Ban Nakasung and drive further south to visit Khone Phapheng. Khone Phapheng is the largest waterfall by volume in South East Asia and is an impressive sight, with sublime natural surroundings teeming with wildlife. Afterward we drive back to Pakse. Overnight in Pakse .

Day4. Pakse – Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred out to the airport.
