Prey Basac is located in Svang Rieng district, about 9 kilometers southeast of Svay Rieng provincial town. Prey Basac covers 84 square meters. It is the former site of an ancient temple long since destroyed by war. However, the site still attracts local people and foreigners because of its rich forests and its traditional style and Khmer culture. If the site were improved, it could attract even more tourists.
